Our goal is to prepare students for future college coursework and help them stay in school to complete their program of study.
We provide can also provide supplemental, individualized, academic review programs for students who are currently attending Boise State University.
Summary of Services
- All students who enter the college take a COMPASS pretest and posttest.
- Upon completion, we meet with the student to evaluate the scores and the academic requirements of the program he/she plans to attend.
- We help each student to create an individualized plan for him/her to improve their skills and reach the level that will allow them to be successful in their program. Each student's "academic review plan" is customized to meet their unique needs.
- We provide free small group workshops and computer-aided instruction to
students who have begun the registration process with the university.
- A typical student will spend 10 to 20 hours per week working on brushing up their skills and completing their academic improvement program.
