What Kind of Career Can You Expect?
Graduates of this program qualify for entry-level positions as receptionists, secretaries, office assistants, and clerical specialists in major corporations, small businesses, government agencies, banks, utility companies, and more. Duties vary significantly, depending upon your skill level and the functions of your office.

Credits can be applied toward a specialized Business Technology Associate of Applied Science Degree in Accounting Technology, Administrative Office Technology, or Legal Office Technology.

What is the Outlook for Job Opportunities and Pay?
In the local market, individuals with training in computer applications and technical office skills are in high demand. For those with a Technical Certificate, beginning salaries range from $18,000 to $21,000 per year. With further training and experience, there are many opportunities for promotion and advancement.
