What Kind of Career Can You Expect?
You may begin your exciting hospitality career in a wide variety of businesses, virtually anywhere around the world. Your skills will be needed by fine-dining establishments, resorts, catering companies, hotels, airlines, bakeries, home meal replacement businesses, and commercial foodservice facilities. 

Those who are considering enrollment are advised to give serious consideration to the long hours of difficult work required, both at college and in your subsequent employment within the foodservice industry.

What is the Outlook for Job Opportunities and Pay?
The hospitality industry is the world’s largest and fastest growing employment sector, offering unlimited opportunities all over the world. No matter which area of the industry you choose, as a Boise State culinary graduate you will have the professional training to move ahead in your career and work toward advanced, skilled foodservice positions.

All AAS degrees can be expanded into four-year Bachelor of Applied Science degrees.

Culinary Arts Center

We have a full-service Culinary Arts training facility on Boise State University's main campus, featuring a commercial kitchen, bakery, deli, and full-service dining and meeting rooms where lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday - Friday.

The facility also has a technology classroom where multi-media instruction takes place.

We encourage prospective students to visit campus and tour our facility.
