Taking a Test
Important Information

Center Policies

• You must present 2
   ID's; one photo / one
   signature ID.

• No Cell Phones or   other electronic
  devices are allowed
   in the testing room

• Personal checks are   not accepted.
  No exceptions.

This test is for international students to determine english proficiency

Eligibility Requirements: All International Students who desire to take any English Courses will need to take this test for correct placement into the appropriate course.

Fees: $8.00 Cash or Money Order payable to Boise State Schedule: The Michigan Test is offered every Friday afternoon at 12p.m. You need to make an appointment to take the test. Please call 208-426-2762. Please arrive 10 minutes early. No one will be admitted once testing has started.

Scores ( Available Length or validity interpretation): Scores are available the Monday following the Friday test session with the exception of holiday closures.

Length of Test: The length of the test is 2 ½ hours. It is a 3-part test consisting of a Reading comprehension, Listening, and Essay.

Preparation: This test is designed to place you in the most appropriate English course. We do not encourage preparation.

What to bring: Current photo ID and appropriate test fee(s) as listed above.
