The Center for New Directions is a career counseling center which assists single parents and displaced homemakers.  (A displaced homemaker is anyone widowed or divorced who has not been self-supporting, but due to life circumstances must develop a plan for work and educational success.) Please call 426-1431 for information about current offerings.

Single Parents, Displaced Homemakers, Single Pregnant Women. (Note: may also be for unprepared or under-prepared adults).

"To help individuals in transition become personally and economically self-sufficient."

Services

The following services are provided through the Centers for New Directions.

  • Career Counseling: 3 to 4 sessions with a counselor.
  • Referrals to other agencies and community resources which focus on women’s issues and dealing with self-sufficiency.

Costs

Free to all CND qualified clients/students.
