The Center for New Directions is a career counseling center which assists single parents and displaced homemakers. (A displaced homemaker is anyone widowed or divorced who has not been self-supporting, but due to life circumstances must develop a plan for work and educational success.) Services
The following services are provided through the Centers for New Directions.
- Career Counseling: 3 to 4 sessions with a counselor.
- Referrals to other agencies and community resources which focus on women’s issues and dealing with self-sufficiency.
